Dear Collective,
The Dark Goddess Tarot by Ellen Lorenzi-Prince has been so popular with my clients lately that I couldn’t possibly consider using any other tarot deck for this this month’s Collective Tarot Reading.
If you have been following these Collective Readings for a while, you will know how deep and strong my love is for any tarot deck created by Ellen Lorenzi-Prince. The Dark Goddess Tarot has been out of print for some time, but the exciting news is that it is being re-released at the end of this month by Schiffer Publishing. You can pre-order it from your favourite bookstore. I pre-ordered mine through booktopia which I recommend for those of you in Australia (yes, I ordered another copy despite having 3 copies of it already. I have my reasons, and they are good ones).
The questions for October are:
What do we need to educate ourselves about?

What small things can we do to positively affect the greater whole?

1. What do we need to educate ourselves about?

Please can we educate ourselves about the extraordinarily powerful impact of compassion upon our tired minds and our weary bodies. We can practice this compassion as much as possible everyday, if not for others, for ourselves. Practising compassion helps us observe the subtleties of our own deep bodily intuition. It also teaches us how to be sincerely respectful to anyone who may be looked down upon by conventional conservative society.
2. Where do we need to pave new ground?

We need to pave new ground in our hearts and our imaginations. We can spend more time connecting with what we truly hope for, and pushing our minds to think beyond the limitations of society in its current form. If we share our bold thoughts with likeminded creative friends, we have a better chance of moving these thoughts beyond imagination and into reality.
3. What small things can we do to positively affect the greater whole?

We can tell stories: share our stories of love and humour and pain and sadness. Share stories that leave us feeling quiet-hearted, thankful, connected, soft, vulnerable, spacious and clear. Tell your stories to many or to just a few, or even just one. With more stories in our hearts, our world can open right up, encouraging respectful consideration of anyone who lives outside our current reality.
4. How can we make best use of our time right now?
Ace of Fire ~ Vesta
Start what you’ve been meaning to start for a long time.
Start the process that leads to more connection to self and community.
Keep a sacred fire burning within – take your life seriously and understand that your presence is helping to keep other peoples’ inner fires going. Don’t turn out your light before the proper time.
