Dear Collective,
For this month’s Tarot Reading for the Collective I am using Shining Tribe Tarot by Rachel Pollack, with images inspired by prehistoric art from all around the world.
The questions for April are:
Where should we turn when looking for wisdom?
How should we ground our wisdom so that it is clear, and understood?
How can we temper our activities so that we can hold onto truth?
Where do we go to connect with what is sacred?
…………………………………………………………………………………………….
1. Where should we turn when looking for wisdom?
4 of Birds
Face the direction people take when they are trying to get above all the lies that are spun to incriminate those who dare to live authentically. Carefully observe the innovators who challenge the too-easily made legislations that claim to save people but in fact harm many. How do these challengers hold themselves? Are they confident? Empowered? Intelligent? Are you in awe of them and perhaps a little intimidated? Don’t let that fear hold you back from accessing your own wisdom. Facing the places that require effort to get to may seem daunting, but they are places that hold wonderful secrets and grounded realisations.
2. How should we ground our knowledge so that it is clear, and understood?
Knower of Birds
Mess with your routine to see what happens in your everyday surroundings when you look from different angles, at different times of day. Notice what life exists around you to understand what wants to grow where you live. Acquaint yourself better with your neighbourhood so that you can weave your knowledge in ways that accord with the landscape and with the people you meet along the way. Keep your feet firmly on the ground as you gaze at the sky.
3. How can we temper our activities so that we can hold onto truth?
The Hermit
Though the pace of life can be so fast, remember that going slow at times will enrich your awareness of your own boundaries and the boundaries of others. Knowing where these lines are means you can better ascertain what is real and what is imagined. Integrity is easier to maintain when respecting these boundaries, and integrity allows truth to thrive. Truth never needs to be force fed, it arrives freely and clearly. Know what to revere in your life and notice what happens inside of you when you turn away from the noise towards the stillness.
4. Where do we go to connect with what is sacred?
7 of Rivers
Go where there is good company, even if the company is unfamiliar. If there is warmth in your heart as you gather near likeminded people, trust that, and see what happens in your life when you get together. The sacred can be found in unexpected places, and often in places that are hidden from view. Step outside of your conditioned notions so that you can experience a realness that can’t be found in traditional institutions.
